Laura Katrina Anderon, 12, a Eurasian, teaches other Eurasian children 1st grade level school lessons inside her small families home in the Daang Baligo squatter area in Angeles City, Philippines. Laura is now a 6th grade student at Santa Maria Elementary School in Angelese and wants to be a lawyer when she grows up. She spend each afternoon helping younger Amerasians in their studies as most Eurasians are ostracized by non-Eurasians and have difficulty in learning during a traditional school environment.
