Just after the fourth of July, John feels pain running through his body, but eases it with heroin. After going to the local hospital, Jessica prepares the works and shoots up while John grimaces in pain. The hospital assumed he just had a back spasm and sent him home with motrin after finding out he was an addict. Meanwhile a staph infection from a dirty shared needle raced through his bloodstream.
