"Sexual abuse of children in South Africa"  

"MOTHER AND BABY" CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA - FEBRUARY 11: Patricia Lincoln, age 16, holding the tiny hand of her one year old daughter Baby Thsepang as she is recovering on February 11, 2002 at the Red Cross ChildrenŐs Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. The baby was brutally raped by her father in October in Loisevale, a poor colored area outside Upington, about 900 kilometers Northwest of Cape Town, South Africa. The case made headlines around the world and highlighted the increasing crime against children. The country is struggling with increasing number of rapes and sexual abuse of young children and the country has the highest number of rapes in the world.
