Women dying on the ground. Fatima, 60, lies ill on the mud footpath due to the heat and lack of food at the Rowzabagh Refugee Camp in Herat, western Afghanistan. She and over one thousand other internally displaced Afghans have lived in the camp for two years. They fled from Ghoar Province two years ago because of drought and famine. Millions of displaced refugees languish in camps waiting to return to their villages now that the sever drought is over and the rule of the Taliban has ended.
