"A life without Pretense"

Annette Steele has cleaned other peoples' homes for over 45 years. This work has kept food on the table and put children through school. At the age of 69, this tiny woman from Northeast Portland still gets down on her hands and knees to scrub floors. She says "I could have had easier jobs, but I chose this work. I chose it because I needed to."
