IRAQ. Basra. April 7 2003. After more than two weeks
of fighting the Allied forces entered Basrah on April 7th. The British tanks
rolled into the city center early in the morning, encountering pockets of
armed resistance. While the fight against these last faddayin was carried on,
wide spread looting began all over the city.
