Schneider-Goldberg prevents a dispute from
escalating into a fight during a girls 6th grade phys-ed class Wednesday, Jan.
21, 2004. Schneider-Goldberg, a teacher at Stueben for 31 years, saw girls
gathered in a group and talking loudly and predicted it might turn into a
fight. When things escalated she quickly separated the two girls involved,
called security and both girls were suspended. It is a scenario
Schneider-Goldberg says she has learned to deal with over the years.
