  Kibera, on the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya is the largest slum in sub-Saharan Africa. About a million inhabitants are stuffed into 300 aces. In Kibera it is cramped, overflowing with raw sewage and sickness, often without running water and electricity. There is often violent outbreaks between the tenants and the landlords, where people are killed.
