"Brothers in Arms"

Although public debate over the war in Iraq intensified in 2006, the arguments did little to sway the views of two twin brothers from a small town in North Idaho. Like thousands of other young Americans, Matt and Robert Shipp, 18, joined the Marines. The last few careless summer months of youths in their remote neighborhood ended when they began their military journey. The Shipp twins know the danger, but have had their eyes on the Marines since they were 12 years-old. Here Matt, left, and Robert prepare to graduate from high school.
