During an Army Day parade (March 8th 2005), a
disenchanted unemployed trekking-guide displays his anger at the televised
King Guyanendra. A month earlier, King Gyanendra had assumed all political
power in Nepal, promising defeat the Maoist insurgency. However, the king is
highly unpopular, fuelling the Maoist insurgency.
