This very large female leopard seal was over 4
metres in length and probably over 500 Kilograms. The first time I got in
the water with her, she was very aggressive with me. But, after several
threat displays she eventually relaxed to the point that she was trying to
feed me penguins. If I didn't accept her penguin, she would go and get
another. Then she would eat them a just a few centimetres from the front of
the camera. This behaviour went on for several days.
