Children hid under a truck and scrambled for loose pieces of coal as workmen unloaded hundreds of bags of the heating fuel at a Red Cross distribution in the Chalilsoton Srakanow neighborhood of Kabul, Afghanistan. Many children must provide for themselves and their families in the war-torn country where jobs, food, and basic necessities are scarce.
