Calvin Stewart ate a meager meal of red beans and
rice on the front porch of the Desire Street home where he and his friends
gather each day. They have loosely banded together and are determined to stay
in their homes despite toxic water surrounding them, and no electricity or
water. Calvin owns the 'We Got It' grocery store across the street and has
been refusing to evacuate until troops arrive to guard his place of business.
