The drinking water pipelines built as part of the British efforts to bring sanitation to India run near the outskirts of Dharavi, the notorious slum of Mumbai. As there are no latrines or any other objects or buildings behind the line of houses, locals simply walk out here to use the pipes to sit on or to hide behind when nature calls.
