Memuna Mansaray sits on the lap of former president
Bill Clinton and puts a bracelet from the arm of Senator Hillary Clinton on
his arm at a fundraiser celebrity picnic for the Gift of Limbs program at
Camp St. Edwards. It was a long journey from the amputee camps of Freetown to
the lap of an American president. The theme of the picnic was the Wizard of
Oz. Joe Mandarino, on right, recently passed away due to complications from a
brain tumor. He left behind a valuable legacy in these children.
