'I get a good feeling knowing what I'm doing for
people as far as taxes are concerned.You have a significant effect on the
people. We're all volunteers. People will say what can I give you? I usually
say give me a hand shake, a big smile and a thank you. That's all we're
entitled to,' said Walker Fesmire, 75. Fesmire, Professor Emeritus at
University of Michigan-Flint, has volunteered his time to help those in need
do their taxes for more than two decades and said he has instilled the same
sense of community in his accounting students to give back of their talents.
